Pricing

We issue invoices in Egyptian Pounds (EGP), Euros (EUR), and US Dollars (USD). All prices shown are in USD for international reference. If you prefer an EGP or EUR invoice, mention this when you confirm your order and we will apply the current interbank rate at the date of issue. For institutional clients paying from European institutions, SEPA bank transfer is available and preferred to avoid correspondent banking fees.

Prices shown are exclusive of Egyptian VAT, currently 14%. VAT is added to invoices for clients based in Egypt. International clients outside Egypt are invoiced at the net price shown, with a zero-rated VAT line on the invoice to satisfy our tax registration requirements. If you require a VAT-compliant invoice for reimbursement through a non-Egyptian institution, let us know and we will include all required fields (Tax ID, company registration, invoice number sequence) in the format you need.

We issue a pro-forma invoice after confirming your order via email. Payment is due by bank transfer to our Cairo-registered account before we deliver documents. For group orientation sessions we require a 50% deposit to secure the date, with the remaining 50% due seven days before the session. Bespoke commissions follow the same 50/50 structure, with delivery of the first draft triggering the balance invoice. We do not process card payments directly; if bank transfer is a problem for your institution, contact us to discuss alternatives.

Yes. The Essential plan is built for exactly this: one to three specific documents for travellers who already have itinerary help and need targeted briefings. The price per document is USD 35 for museum guides and USD 45 for field site briefings (which tend to be longer and updated more frequently). You specify any document from our library, we confirm availability and the exact price, and you pay via bank transfer before delivery. If you need a document not yet in our standard library, we will let you know whether it can be produced as a bespoke commission and at what cost.

Standard documents from our existing library are delivered within 48 hours of payment confirmation, usually sooner — most orders placed before noon EET are delivered the same day. Itinerary consulting (the Full Journey plan) takes five to seven business days from the completed questionnaire. This is the minimum required to do the work properly; we do not outsource itinerary consulting or use automated scheduling. Group orientation sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement, with a minimum six-week lead time for fully custom sessions. If your timing is tight, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet your deadline.

Because our documents are intellectual property delivered digitally, we do not offer refunds after delivery. However, if a document contains a material factual error — an incorrect opening time, a misidentified artefact, an outdated access condition — we will correct and reissue it at no charge. For orientation sessions cancelled by the client fewer than fourteen days before the scheduled date, the deposit is forfeited to cover preparation costs already incurred. Cancellations made more than fourteen days in advance receive a full refund of the deposit. If your trip is cancelled due to circumstances beyond your control (documented) we will convert your payment to a credit valid for twelve months.

Yes. The Institutional plan covers both academic institutions and licensed heritage tourism operators. The key distinction is that it includes the content licensing right that allows you to incorporate our documents into materials distributed to your own clients or students, with attribution. We currently work with fourteen licensed operators based across Europe. The licence covers print and PDF distribution to clients only — not web publication or resale. Annual renewal is required, and updated documents are included automatically throughout the licence period.

For standard library documents, yes — a last-minute request for an existing briefing does not cost more because the document is already prepared. The 48-hour delivery window applies regardless of when you order. For itinerary consulting requests fewer than five business days before departure, we cannot guarantee completion of the full questionnaire-based process. In those cases we can provide a triage version — the most immediately relevant briefings and access information without a custom itinerary — at the Essential plan rate. We do not apply a rush surcharge; we simply tell you what is achievable in the time available.
