We do not use a ticketing system or an automated response queue. Your enquiry is read by a person on our team — one of our Egyptologists or our client coordinator Youssef El-Sayed — and you receive a substantive reply, not an acknowledgement followed by a generic brochure. If your question requires input from a specialist (for example, a question about current excavation access restrictions at a specific site), we may take slightly longer, but we will let you know.
The best way to reach us depends on your enquiry type. For straightforward document orders (you know what you want, you know which plan), the form below is the most efficient route — we can confirm and invoice within a few hours. For consulting or institutional enquiries, we prefer an initial email conversation to understand your requirements before proposing anything specific. Phone calls are welcome during office hours for clients who prefer to speak before committing.
Responses within one business day. For institutional and licensing enquiries, email is preferred as it creates a clear record of requirements and agreements.
Available Sunday through Thursday, 09:00–17:30 Cairo time (EET, UTC+2). We do not offer out-of-hours phone support. If you call and reach voicemail, leave a message with your name and preferred callback time and we will return your call the following business morning.
We do not receive walk-in visitors. All client work is handled remotely. The office address is provided for correspondence, invoicing, and regulatory purposes.
Sunday – Thursday, 09:00–17:30 EET (Cairo, UTC+2). Friday and Saturday: closed. Egyptian public holidays: closed, with responses the following business day.
Tell us about your trip and what you're looking for. We'll come back to you within one business day with a clear proposal.
Our full FAQ is on the home page, but these four questions arrive in our inbox almost daily. If your question is here, you already have your answer — no need to wait for a reply.
No. Kemet Heritage Consultancy produces documentary resources only — guides, briefings, and itinerary consulting. We do not employ ground-based tour guides, book hotels, or arrange transport. For trusted licensed Egyptologist-guides, we maintain a referral list available to clients on request. Our independence from the tourism industry is what makes our assessments reliable.
For standard library documents, 48 hours is sufficient. For Full Journey itinerary consulting, two to three weeks is ideal; we need the completed questionnaire before we can start work. For group orientation sessions, please contact us at least six weeks before your trip. If your departure is imminent and you are reading this on a Tuesday morning, email us — we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
Access conditions at Egyptian sites change frequently. We maintain a current access log updated monthly. Rather than publishing it here (where it would immediately become outdated), we share the relevant extract with every client as part of their document package. If you have a specific site in mind and need current access information urgently, email us directly and we will check the log for you.
Yes. Arabic and French versions are available for all major museum guides. German versions are available for Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Saqqara, and the GEM. If you need a specific document in a language not listed, mention it in your enquiry and we will tell you whether a translation exists or can be commissioned within your timeline and at what additional cost.
Browse our service catalogue or compare plans before getting in touch. There is no obligation to proceed after an initial enquiry.
